本書は、西日本新聞に掲載された連載「あめつちのことづて－たゆたうノート」（２０２１年５月～２０２２年１月）をまとめたものです。
最初に訪れた時、そして撮影を始めてから今までの時間の中で知っていった土地の風土や風俗、人間模様。そして同時に直面したことや考えたこと、そのゆらめく心情を織り交ぜながら春夏秋冬ごとに書き記しました。

This book is a compilation of the serial essay in the Nishinippon Newspaper titled “Signs of Life – Wavering Note” from May 2021 to January 2022.
I wrote, in each season, about the things I have come to know in the time since I first visited the village and started filming such as cultural climate, custom, and human nature. I also wrote what I faced and thought about with my wavering emotions.
